Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu - APA-Economics. “Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkey can increase to $15-20 bln”, said the Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun at the Azerbaijan-Turkish business forum.
Speaking about forum, the ambassador said that significant decisions are passed in such meetings every year: “The decisions include increase of the trade turnover to $15-20 bln from $4-5 bln and mutual investing. At the same time, the issue on involvement of third countries to the projects to be implemented by Azerbaijan and Turkey is on the agenda”.
He said that Turkish businessmen will conduct bilateral negotiations with their Azerbaijani partners: “They will define how to cooperate with third countries. These are very significant initiatives. Because there are certain issues which the businessmen need. These are creation of condition for political stability and economic development and demonstration of political will by state officials of these purposes”.
