Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. Azerbaijan is considering the opportunities for purchasing A400M Atlas tactical airlifter, APA reports quoting military sources.
The Azerbaijani side has attended the presentation of the airlifter and liked its capabilities.
Currently, the existing potential is being evaluated and purchasing opportunities are being considered.
The Airbus A400M Atlas is a multi-national four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft.
The airlifter has a crew of 3 or 4 (2 pilots). Its length is 45.1 m, wingspan - 42.4 m, max takeoff weight – 141 tonnes, cruising speed - 780 km/h.
