Baku – APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today received president of the European Olympic Committees Patrick Hickey and member of the organization’s Executive Board Spyros Capralos, APA reports quoting AzerTAc.
Patrick Hickey congratulated the Azerbaijani President on his re-election. He hailed rapid economic development and expansion of sport infrastructure in the country.
They stressed the importance of what had been done to develop various fields of sport in Azerbaijan, and exchanged views over preparatory work for the 1st European Games to be held in Baku in 2015.
