On April 4, a five-way meeting of the officials of Prosecutor General's Offices of the Caspian littoral states on “Environmental Violations in the Caspian Sea Aquatoria: Strategies of Prosecuting Authorities to Protect the Marine Environment” was held in Baku, APA reports.
At the meeting, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmar Jamalov, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Islamic Republic of Iran Golam Abbas Torki, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhandos Umiraliyev, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Pyotr Gorodov and Deputy Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan Rahim Atayev delivered speeches on the role of Prosecutor's Offices on fight against environmental violations in Caspian Sea and touched on relevant problems in this field.
