In order to build bridges between different cultures, religions, and viewpoints it is only through dialogue it is crucial to reduce tension and conflict, eliminate dividing lines and start an honest exchange of views toward progress, said Sahiba Gafarova, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis, at the Inter-Parliamentary Conference of the VI World Intercultural Dialogue Forum themed “The Role and Best Practices of the Legislature in the Protection of Cultural Heritage”, APA reports.

Azerbaijan, located at the intersection of East and West, is home to various ethnic and religious groups living together in conditions of dignity, peace, and friendship. Today, our society is guided by the values formed over the centuries,” the Speaker added.
