A total of three Iraqi soldiers were killed and three were wounded in southern Iraqi city of Basra on late Friday, APA reports quoting Anadolu Agency.
Basra Provincial Parliament Security Committee head Jabbar al-Saidi told Anadolu Agency that there was a suicide vehicle-borne explosive device attack in Ar-Ramilah area near a checkpoint.
Saidi said three soldiers were killed in the attack and three soldiers were wounded. He added that another vehicle also exploded close to the first explosion site but did not cause any casualties.
No organization claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
