"118 companies from 37 countries will participate in the ADEX and Caspian Securex exhibitions, which are huge events in the field of defense industry. 14 countries will participate in the exhibition with their own pavilion," said Samir Agabalayev, chief of staff of the Ministry of Defense Industry at today's press conference, APA reports.
The chief of staff also added that Italy, Slovakia, Qatar and Hungary will be represented with their own pavilion for the first time:
“Both exhibitions demonstrate the strength of our country's defense industry due to its scale. These exhibitions create conditions for the establishment of efficient relations between the participants. This year's exhibitions are larger in scale. Thus, the exhibition will be held in open-air pavilions as well as in the Baku Expo Center. The national pavilion of our country will participate with 4 stands. Let me also add that our weapons to be exhibited were made by local specialists of Azerbaijan. Both the Ministry of Defense Industry and "Azersilah" are expected to sign cooperation agreements with a number of foreign manufacturers at the upcoming exhibition.”
