The reports circulating about Azerbaijan providing military assistance to Ukraine are completely false, says a statement issued by Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
"Azerbaijan does not produce cannonballs, and this claim is just nonsense. Azerbaijan provides only humanitarian support to Ukraine based on the principles of humanism. The photo of the person who is said to be a journalist with the Ukrainian flag has nothing to do with Azerbaijan.
As the Media Development Agency, we call on local and foreign social media users to treat such nonsense news with caution and sensitivity," the statement reads.
