Search issued for Subhan Hasanli, head of Social Rights Center

A search has been announced for Subhan Hasanli, head of the Social Rights Center, APA reports.

According to information obtained by APA, Subhan Hasanli has been involved in a criminal case at the Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General's Office under Articles 192.2.2, 213.1, 308.2, and other provisions of the Criminal Code.

It is reported that in 2020-2021, Subhan Hasanli entered into contracts with the U.S. "FH1360" humanitarian organization and the Institute for War and Peace Reporting.

He brought the grants into the country under the guise of "service contracts" and legalized them.

Allegedly, he provided services to these international organizations and received "service fees" in return. In reality, the grants were formalized under this name, and then financial operations were conducted with those funds and legalized.

Subhan Hasanli has been charged under Articles 193-1.2.3 (legalization of assets obtained by criminal means using his official position), 308.2, and 313 of the Criminal Code.

However, he has fled and is now in hiding.

A detention measure has been applied to him by the decision of the Binagadi District Court.

A search has been announced for him.

Note that the Social Rights Center is not registered with the state.
