As reported, the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continue to carry out necessary and urgent measures to eliminate the consequences caused by the rainy and windy weather conditions observed across the country, APA reports citing Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
At present, the uninterrupted work of draining and removing water from flooded areas, evacuating citizens in need of assistance, and implementing other necessary safety measures is ongoing in various directions in the cities of Baku, Ganja, Sumgayit, Mingachevir, Shirvan, and the districts of Khachmaz, Shabran, and Siyazan.
Additionally, as a result of the measures taken by the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, water removal and evacuation work has been completed in a number of areas, including various parts of Baku, as well as in the Absheron, Gobustan, and Shamakhi districts.
As a result of the operation, a total of 53 citizens, including 19 children, who were stranded in flooded areas, have been evacuated.

Ongoing operations are being conducted in various directions in the cities of Baku, Ganja, Sumgayit, Mingachevir, and Shirvan, as well as in the districts of Khachmaz, Shamakhi, Gobustan, and Siyazan, including draining flooded areas, evacuating citizens in need of assistance, and implementing other essential safety measures.
As a result of the operations, a total of 41 people, including 17 children, have been evacuated from flooded areas.
Additionally, the MES forces have completed the drainage of water from several areas, including the tunnel known as “Baghirov Bridge” in the Narimanov district of the capital.
