On March 6, at 06:30, smuggling of large amount of narcotics from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Azerbaijan was prevented by the Border Troops of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan (SBS) in the service territory of the "Horadiz" border detachment, the Press Service Center of the State Border Service told APA.
As a result of the conducted border search and operational measures, narcotics with a total weight of 11 kilograms 250 grams of marijuana were found and seized from the service area.
Operational-investigative measures are ongoing into the fact.
