The important matters are on the visit agenda of the delegation led by the Chairman of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili in his visit to Azerbaijan, and all these will be discussed, Zurab Pataradze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Azerbaijan, said this, APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports citing Georgian public TV.
He said that Shalva Papuashvili’s meetings with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Speaker of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) Sahiba Gafarova, as well as with Prime Minister Ali Asadov are planned. The ambassador noted that a meeting of inter-parliamentary friendship groups was also planned as part of the visit.
The ambassador Zurab Pataradze noted that the upcoming meetings will stimulate the further development of relations between the two states. He reminded that there are a strategic partnership and dynamic relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
“There are important matters on the agenda and all these will be discussed and this meeting will specially contribute to our sincere and strategic relations", the ambassador said.
