"U.S. has demanded of Türkiye to cut off its support to Azerbaijan for the liberation of Garabagh," said Spokesman for Justice and Development Party of Türkiye (AK) Ömer Çelik during a press conference, APA's Türkiye correspondent reports.
He noted that Washington has put forward this as a condition for sending F-16s to Türkiye during said period.
"For 30 years, the Minsk Group did nothing but preserve the existence of an unjust status quo, without employing a result-oriented diplomacy. As a result, Azerbaijan returned to its lands with the Garabagh war. Türkiye continues its facilitating role in full coordination with Azerbaijan and Mr. Aliyev. Special representatives also have a contribution to the negotiations, which is based on the principle of "let's solve the issue, let's not involve imperialists and foreign forces outside the region in this issue," he stressed.
