The President of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, former Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, and Permanent Representative of Trinidad and Tobago to the UN, Dennis Francis, has sent a letter to Azerbaijan's Permanent Mission to the UN, APA reports.
In the letter, the President of the United Nations General Assembly acknowledged Azerbaijan's request for an extraordinary special session in the capacity of the Chair of the Non-Aligned Movement's Coordinating Bureau.
The special session of the General Assembly will be held on October 26 at the United Nations headquarters in New York, with the participation of 120 member countries, 18 observer countries, and 10 observer organizations.
