Western countries exhibit double standards, the territorial integrity of Georgia and Ukraine is considered sacrosanct to them, and a different position is put forward in relation to Azerbaijan, said Azerbaijani Ambassador to the United Kingdom Elin Suleymanov in his interview with Euronews, APA reports.
The ambassador noted that politicians should understand that they should respect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, otherwise, the consequences of their territorial claims will be severe.
"First, they ask CSTO; then, they ask NATO. They go to Paris, then they go to Washington; all those external institutions or nations are outside of our region," Suleymanov said of Armenia's diplomatic efforts. "What they need to do is find a common language with Azerbaijan, Georgia and Tükiye."
