He noted that currently the importance of the East-West Middle Corridor has also increased. "We need to develop its functionality. With the end of the occupation of Garabagh, we see that we are one step closer to permanent peace in our region. Armenia's fulfillment of its commitments to Azerbaijan will facilitate this process. It is extremely important to implement the transport lines that will connect the Western regions of Azerbaijan with Nakhchivan as soon as possible,” President Erdogan added.
