“The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev's victory in the presidential election again is an indicator of the people's trust in him,” said the former Prime Minister of Romania Ana Birchall at the panel discussion within the framework of XI Global Baku Forum, APA reports.
“This victory once again shows that the people support president’s state policy,” – Ms Birchall added.
Romanian diplomat also touched upon the issue of energy cooperation with Azerbaijan:
“We now have an answer to those who use the energy factor as a weapon against us, we have prevented this. This is due to the energy cooperation of the countries of our region with Azerbaijan.”
