As a result of ending the military occupation of internationally recognized territories of Azerbaijan, historical changes have occurred in the regional situation in the past 4 years, Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said in his opening speech during the tripartite meeting of Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Georgia Foreign Ministers held in Baku, APA reports.
Nr Bayramov noted that by ending the occupation, Azerbaijan laid the foundation for peace and stability in the region.
He emphasized successful regional economic cooperation among Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Georgia, large economic projects of regional and global importance are carried out, and the implemented projects contribute to trade relations between the East and the West.
The minister added that the successful cooperation among the countries reflects the will of the people.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized that the President of Azerbaijan attaches special importance to the format of tripartite cooperation: "President Ilham Aliyev attaches special importance to regional cooperation among Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye."
