Parliament calls on Dutch government to consider with positive attitude any Armenian request for military support from EU

The House of Representatives of the Netherlands voted for a motion calling on the Dutch government to consider with a positive attitude any Armenian request for military support from the EU, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in the Netherlands Rahman Mustafayev said, APA reports.

“Yesterday (October 17 – ed.) Tweede Kamer (The House of Representatives of the Netherlands) voted for a motion calling on the Dutch government to consider with a positive attitude any Armenian request for military support from the EU. Non-constructive, leading to the militarisation of our region, rather than to peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia and reconciliation. It’s important that Netherlands, instead of bolstering Armenia’s continued destructive position, will encourage it to finally engage in good faith in the efforts of building peaceful coexistence in our region and to focus on the conclusion of the negotiations on peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” Azerbaijani diplomat noted.
