Pia Kauma, the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, who is on a visit to Tbilisi, has met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, the press service of the Georgian Prime Minister said, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
It was noted that Georgia's 2024 parliamentary elections and the situation in the region were discussed.
Garibashvili has noted that Georgia had already taken steps to promote communication and ensure stability between its neighbours, and remains committed to contributing to strengthening peace and stability in the region.
The meeting also covered the situation in the country’s occupied regions.
