Moscow continues to work on concluding a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, First Deputy Minister of Defense, Army General Valery Gerasimov said at a briefing for foreign military attaches on the results of the activities of the Ministry of Defense this year, APA reports.
“Russia tries to open transport communications in the South Caucasus, conclude a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, eliminate the most acute contradictions between the two countries, and carry out targeted work to resolve them politically,” Gerasimov said.
