Russian President Vladimir Putin did not discuss the fate of Ruben Vardanyan with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, APA reports
"The leaders of Russia and Azerbaijan did not make discussions about Vardanyan during the open part of the meeting," the Kremlin spokesman said.
Note that the former "minister of state" of the separatists, Ruben Vardanyan, was detained on September 27, 2023, and brought to criminal responsibility as an accused person by announcing the accusation. According to the court decision, a preventive measure of 4 months was chosen.
