A delegation of the Republic of Iraq, who are on an official visit to Azerbaijan, have visited the Alley of Honor, and paid tribute to the memory of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, the architect and founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan and laid a wreath at his tomb, APA reports.
Then the delegation visited the Alley of Martyrs and paid tribute to the Azerbaijani heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity and laid fresh flowers on their graves.
Commemorating the unforgettable memory of Azerbaijani martyrs, the delegation of Iraq also visited the "Eternal Flame" monument.
