There is unanimous opinion regarding the resuming the activity of Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran Nasser Kanaani said while responding to question about the resuming the activity of the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, at a press conference today, APA reports.
“The visit of the Azerbaijani official (the Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on special assignments Khalaf Khalafov – ed.) to Tehran took place as a continuation of the negotiations between the officials of the two countries. Good negotiations and consultations were held. Both the Azerbaijani and the Iranian side expressed their views on the recent events in the region,” – the Spokesperson emphasized.
Naser Kanaani pointed out that there is an unanimous opinion on the resuming of the activity of the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran: “The embassy may soon resume its activities in Tehran within the framework of discussions and successful steps taken. We are in a good mood and tendency in bilateral relations between Iran and Azerbaijan.”
