"Cultural relations based on historical roots have been the key factor that has preconditioned the Azerbaijani and Georgian peoples’ living in an atmosphere of friendship, friendly neighborliness, peace and mutual understanding for centuries," Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov said as he addressed the groundbreaking ceremony of a new building of Tbilisi State Azerbaijan Drama Theatre named after Heydar Aliyev, APA reports.
He said that both Azerbaijan and Georgia have historically shown great respect for each other’s national and spiritual values, culture, language, religion, art, and literature.
