The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Yalchin Rafiyev visited the Sultanate of Oman on December 10 in order to participate in the 5th round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Oman Sultanate, the Ministry told APA.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Issa Alharthy, Undersecretary for Political Affairs of Oman headed the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman.
During the consultations, economic-trade the current situation and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the fields of political, economic-trade, energy, humanitarian, inter-parliamentary relations, cooperation matters within the framework of international organizations, including the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement were discussed.
