On the auspicious occasion of the National Day of Pakistan, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan. Ambassador Bilal Hayee raised the Pakistani flag, while the national anthem was played, the Embassy told APA.
The staff of the Embassy, members of the Pakistani community in Baku and Azerbaijani citizens also attended the National Day ceremony.
Messages from the President and the Prime Minister were read to the audience, highlighting the significance of Pakistan Day. Prayers for peace, prosperity and the development of Pakistan were also made.
Ambassador Bilal Hayee thanked the Pakistani community and Azerbaijan friends for their participation in the National Day of Pakistan.
