We regret that Armenia refused the meeting of the leaders and foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, which was scheduled to be held today in the Kyrgyz Republic, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov said in his remarks during the hearings regarding Armenia's appeal against Azerbaijan at the International Court of Justice, APA reports.
Elnur Mammadov noted that the next meeting between the sides is scheduled to be held in Brussels at the end of this month under the auspices of the European Union.
He said that the meeting will feature discussions on mutual respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the countries, as well as the conditions for the return of Azerbaijanis and Armenians displaced since the beginning of the conflict.
