As one of the countries that still continues neo-colonialism and does not attach significance to human rights within the colonial policy, it is hypocritical for France to now falsely portray itself as a defender of human rights and international law, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan states, APA reports.
According to the Ministry, France's continuing to live with baseless claims, neocolonialist ambitions, and colonial dreams is doomed to failure.
"Today, France trying to implement the neo-colonialist heinous experience in the South Caucasus region with its geopolitical competition and colonial policy based on "Orientalism" by supporting Armenian separatism in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan instead of taking responsibility for its colonial past, bloody colonial crimes and acts of genocide, and learning from history is equally dangerous and unacceptable,” says the Ministry.
