Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on the sidelines of the extraordinary ministerial meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) regarding the recent events in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict zone, APA reports.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the issues on the current cooperation agenda between the two countries, multilateral regional cooperation issues, as well as the current situation in the region.
The FMs hailed the importance of increasing recent bilateral contacts between the two countries and the meetings held on the sidelines of the bilateral economic commission. They pointed out that these contacts are important for addressing some issues on the agenda between the two countries.
