The situation in Gaza is a source of great concern for all of us, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with his Pakistani counterpart in Islamabad, APA reports.
"We call for the immediate cessation of hostility. We believe that the durable and long-standing peace in the Middle East can be only based on the two-state solution, based on the relevant United Nations security resolutions. We call for a two-state solution to this issue," the head of the MFA stressed.
Jeyhun Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan supported these initiatives.
