The newly appointed extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan, Gismat Gozalov, presented his credentials to the President of Turkmenistan, Sardar Berdimuhamedov, Azerbaijani embassy in Ashgabat told APA.
President Sardar Berdimuhamedov congratulated Ambassador Gismat Gozalov on his new appointment and wished him success in his future activities.
During the meeting, the importance of high-level dialogue between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan was highlighted, and perspectives on the development of cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, as well as issues of mutual interest were exchanged.
