On December 20, Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Cevdet Yılmaz, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, and Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov held a discussion on the protection and efficient use of water resources of the Araz and Kura River basins, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan told APA.
It was noted at the meeting that the protection of water resources has strategic significance for Azerbaijan as well as for all countries.
In this regard, the need for cooperation between the two countries regarding the protection and efficient use of water resources of the Araz and Kura River basins was specially underlined.
