An Agreement was reached to support Azerbaijan's transformation into a perfect international center for clearing mines and other explosive remnants of war, and to explore cooperation to obtain United Kingdom’s experience (and know-how) in identifying missing persons, APA-Economics reports citing the Protocol of the 6th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
As well as, the Protocol states that, United Kingdom is ready to share its knowledge and experience on medical rehabilitation of mine victims with Azerbaijan.
Note that, the 6th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland was held in Baku on December 7. A Protocol of the 6th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland was signed
The 7th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission was agreed to be held in London in 2024.
