The complexity and organization of weapons neutralized or seized as a result of anti-terrorist measures exposed Armenia's attempts to portray military personnel in Garabagh as local militias or armed civilians, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov said in his remarks during the hearings regarding Armenia's appeal against Azerbaijan at the International Court of Justice, APA reports.
“The most obvious indicator of the security threats caused by the Armenian forces in Garabagh is the amount of weapons destroyed or captured during the operation, as well as the amount of weapons and advanced technology military equipment found throughout Garabagh," Elnur Mammadov emphasized.
The deputy minister noted that Azerbaijan has invited the UN to document these military devices, to assist in the disarmament process, and to document Armenia's illegal activities for the whole world.
