"Some of our colleagues thought that they should not come to Baku because of the political situation. I understand their position. I have many friends in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia. This federation has made great efforts to cooperate in space for the benefit of humanity for many years," said Dominique Tilmans, the special adviser of the IAF president on relations with parliament and ministers, at the 13th International IAF (International Astronautical Congress) meeting for ministers and members of parliament, APA reports.
"Our main goal in this meeting is to make space accessible and understandable to everyone," she said.
