International rating agency Moody’s Ratings forecasts that the price of Brent crude oil will remain mainly in the range of $90–110 per barrel until the end of 2026, APA-Economics reports.

According to the agency’s baseline scenario, the price of Brent crude oil will remain mainly in the range of $90–110 per barrel until the end of 2026, before declining toward the range of $55–75 per barrel in the medium term.

Moody’s notes that the ongoing conflict in the Middle East is disrupting oil trade flows. The recent increase in attacks on vessels both in the Strait of Hormuz and along the Red Sea route has reduced crude oil exports. This situation weakens the likelihood that oil trade will normalize by the first quarter of 2027, as envisaged in the agency’s baseline scenario.

According to the report, Saudi Arabia’s crude oil supply to the market fell to 7 million barrels per day in August from 7.4 million barrels per day in July. This was affected by tankers avoiding the Bab al-Mandab Strait and using alternative routes.
