"Azerbaijan is a market with a special strategic importance for the Visa company," Senior Vice President, Group Country Manager for Visa Ukraine, Georgia, CIS and SEE States Cristina Doros said, APA-Economics reports.
She noted that along with partners representing public and private sectors, Visa has been developing and implementing innovative payment technologies in Azerbaijan for 27 years: "For example, over the past years, the Visa company has presented the country with Visa Token Service technology, which enables creating the infrastructure for the implementation of Apple Pay and Google Pay payment solutions, as well as the B2B Connect solution, contactless payments on the railway and many other innovations."
Cristina Doros added that she is organizing the Visa Cashless Forum meeting for the second time in Azerbaijan in 2024 with great pleasure: "I am sure that our event will become a successful platform for the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and new solutions to continue the development of country's economy, implementing innovative solutions and technologies."
