Romania had received the first batch of Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTVs), the Ministry of Defense of the country said, APA reports.
These 33 units are intended for the Romanian Special Operations Forces (SOF).
This delivery coincided with the approval of another Foreign Military Sale (FMS) by the United States on the same day, through which Romania secured 54 M1A2 Abrams SEPv3 tanks at a total cost of $2.53 billion.
