In January-March 2024, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan increased by 3.9 times or USD 17 million 351 thousand compared to the corresponding period of last year and amounted to USD 23 million 382 thousand, APA-Economics reports citing the State Customs Committee.
During this period, the trade turnover with Kyrgyzstan made up 0.24% of the total trade turnover of Azerbaijan in the first quarter.
Note that during the reporting period, the volume of exports from Azerbaijan to Kyrgyzstan increased by 5 times or USD 16 million 580 thousand compared to the first quarter of 2023 amounting to 20 million 816 thousand US dollars, and the volume of exports from Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan increased by 42.9% or USD 770 thousand amounting to USD 2 million 566 thousand.
During this period, mainly non-oil products were exported from Azerbaijan to Kyrgyzstan.
