"From the second half of this year, it is planned to introduce blockchain technology between Baku Port and Georgian ports. This will help to increase the number of containers," the department head of Baku International Sea Trade Port of Azerbaijan Khudayar Hasanli at the regional event on the Middle Corridor held in Georgia, APA-Economics reports.
He stressed that infrastructure facilities should be improved for the development of the Middle Corridor: "If the infrastructure potential does not allow, digitalization and progress works will not help to attract more cargo from China. We will increase our workload as Baku Sea Trade Port and increase our cargo transportation capabilities."
