Binagadi and Sabayel municipalities sell oil-polluted lands illegally, Baku land Department chair Natig Malikov said, APA reports.
“State servants have also purchased houses in oil-polluted territories. Territories near roads are on illegal sale in Khatai District at present�, he said.
Head of Justice Ministry Department on work with municipalities, Mehdi Salimzade said municipal decisions on selling of over 1000 hectares of land were invalidated.
Real Estate Registration Service chair Arif Garashov insisted that illegal selling of lands has increased after establishment of municipalities. /APA/
