The process of drawing up the protocol of the constituency commission and submitting the 1st copy of the protocol to the Central Election Commission with the documents attached to it continues, APA reports cting Information Center of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Noted that after the incoming protocols, changes in voter turnout and votes of presidential candidates have already been registered in the elections.
It should be recalled that on February 8, according to the results received from 93.35 % of the polling stations, voter turnout was 76.73 %. According to the preliminary results of elections, the votes collected by the candidates were as follows:
- Ilham Aliyev - 92.05 %;
- Zahid Oruj - 2.19 %;
- Fazil Mustafa - 2 %;
- Gudrat Hasanguliyev - 1.76 %;
- Razi Nurullayev - 0.8 %;
- Elshad Musayev - 0.67 %;
- Fuad Aliyev - 0.53 %.
According to the 1st copy of the protocol received from the constituencies and the documents attached to it, voter turnout is 76.43 %. The votes collected by the candidates are as follows:
- Ilham Aliyev - 92.12 % (4 577 693 votes);
- Zahid Oruj - 2.17 % (107,877 votes);
- Fazil Mustafa – 1.98 % (98,623 votes);
- Gudrat Hasanguliyev - 1.72 % (85,607 votes);
- Razi Nurullayev - 0.80 % (39,797 votes);
- Elshad Musayev - 0.66 % (32,956 votes);
- Fuad Aliyev - 0.53 % (26,561 votes).
It should be noted that, according to the Election Code, it should be provided that the elections results by constituency are determined by the constituency election commissions, the protocol of the constituency election commission is drawn up and the 1st copy of the protocol together with the documents attached to it are submitted to the Central Election Commission no later than 2 days after the voting day. Due to the extraordinary presidential elections, this process should be completed no later than February 9.
