Terrorist crimes against Azerbaijani people would be exposed through the secret files of separatists seized in Khankandi, MP says

“The seized 35-year-old secret folders of the separatists who surrendered in Khankandi will expose the terrorist acts committed against Azerbaijani people,” said Zahid Oruj, Chair of the Human Rights Committee of the Parliament, at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis.

The Chair Parliament’s Committee noted that the fact that the terrorist act which took place in Crocus City on March 22 was committed in a civilian facility, not in a military government building, shows that the perpetrators of the mass assassination are state-backed forces that want to spread chaos in the former Soviet space, inflame inter-religious and ethnic conflicts, to strike at migration flows and keep borders closed, in addition to Russia, which was chosen as the target to shoot one person for $60: “The fact that the terrorist act took place in a building belonging to an Azerbaijani businessman gave rise to a deviant anti-Azerbaijani campaign for world Arminianism. However, Azerbaijan has lost more than 2,000 citizens as a result of terrorism in the last 37 years alone, assassinations, especially in the '90s, were a result of the Armenian occupation, even a part of the war and the Global Terrorism Index confirms this. In addition to Kocharyan-Sarkisyan, we have also suffered from the revolutionary democrats who attacked Ganja and Barda and planted mines in Garabagh in the last 3 years. We believe that the seized 35-year-old secret files of the separatist forces who surrendered in Khankandi will expose the terrorist acts committed against our people since independence, those awaiting trial in the State Security Service detention center will name the perpetrators of numerous bloody crimes, from the Karakand tragedy to the Baku subway.”

The deputy emphasized that the same forces are engaged in religious and political espionage in our country, including attacks on our embassies in London and Tehran.

He also proposed the creation of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) as a new anti-terrorism center against the PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party), IS, and Armenian terrorism.
