The first meeting of the Pardon Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held today, Rashad Majid, member of the commission, chairman of the Press Council told APA.
He said that the commission will consider more than 700 applications: "It will consider applications related to women, foreigners, military personnel, traffic accidents, life prisoners, etc. More than 100 applications were reviewed at the first meeting. Tense and productive discussions were held."
Rashad Majid said that information will be given about the next meeting.
