The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) to be held in Azerbaijan will ensure the discussion of all priority issues on the world climate agenda, said Deputy Minister of Energy Orkhan Zeynalov during his speech at the Baku Energy Forum held as part of Baku Energy Week, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, COP29 will discuss how to implement energy transmission. During the event, discussions will encompass how to finance these processes, attract investments from the private sector, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to zero.
The deputy minister also noted that it is important to continue implementing what was achieved during COP28 worldwide.
Orkhan Zeynalov stressed that, in general, all countries face the same climate problem, which makes it possible to respond to these problems in common.
