Konstantin Zatulin, first deputy chairman of the committee of the State Duma for the CIS, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots commented on prohibition of his entry to Armenia, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports citing Zatulin’s Telegram channel.
Today, on October 25, the member of the State Duma received a mail on his official e-mail from Armenian Parliament that his visit to Armenia is “undesirable”.
“We bring to your attention that unfortunately, your latest public statements regarding the Republic of Armenia harm the development of the friendly and cooperation relations between the countries. In this respect, from now on your visit to Armenian Republic is considered as undesirable”, reads the mail.
Zatulin considers it as an insulting step: “It was unexpected to us; we received a mail from the head of the foreign relations department of the Armenian parliament. I was said that my visit is undesirable and my statements are harmful to the Republic of Armenia”, pro-Armenian Zatulin said.
