The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has put Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev on its wanted list, the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs said on Monday, APA reports.

Medvedev, who earlier served as Russian president and prime minister, recently accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of trying to incite a third-world war and claimed Kyiv poses a "permanent" and "direct" threat to Moscow. The Russian official also insisted Moscow has the right to use nuclear weapons in case another country threatens ''the very existence'' of Russia or in case any opponent attacks its territory or the territory of its allies with nuclear weapons.
