Russia's Rosneft-owned (ROSN.MM), opens new tab oil refineries in the Volga river cities of Syzran and Saratov have stopped processing following Ukrainian drone attacks this month, three industry sources said on Wednesday, Reuters reports.
They said the Syzran plant was halted on Tuesday, while Saratov suspended operations last Friday.
Russia and Ukraine continued attacks on each other's energy infrastructure this week despite an announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump that they had agreed to stop.
The stoppage of refineries will likely complicate domestic fuel shortages in Russia which had restricted exports of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel.
Rosneft did not respond to a Reuters request for comment.
