“Russian peacekeepers implement their mission,” said the official representative of Russian MFA Maria Zakharova at the briefing today while commenting on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s accusation about Russia of not fulfilling its obligations in the Lachin Corridor, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
“I can say the opposite. Russian peacekeepers implement their mission. All measures are taken, and work is done for the stabilization of the situation. If it is not known, I can remind. If anyone doesn't know this, but only focuses on political statements, I want to remind you that there was tension before this, there were many problems, and the parties accused each other. Namely, Russian peacekeepers did everything to stabilization of the situation, and it worked for them. Therefore, such attitude against our peacekeepers is unacceptable,” stressed a Russian MFA spokesperson.
